My 1st Official Post

Okie. Im finally sitting down in from of the comp to start typing my 1st post after procrastinating for sOoOoOoOooo long.

I shall start from Chinese New Year, which was a week ago.

Its year 2009 and this year its the year of the ox. It is known that the ox comes 2nd after the rat in the chinese zodiac legends. Apparently all the animals in the kingdom had to race across the river and the Jade Emperor will have the years named after them according to their positions. The story goes somthing like this; the rat cant swim, so the ox offered the rat and the cat a ride on its back. Along the way the rat pushed the cat off the ox's back, ever since rats and cats have become enemies. Almost at the finish line, the rat jumped off and raced forward getting 1st in place and the ox in 2nd.

The rat is a cunning little creature isn't it?

My brother is born in the year of a rat, and he IS cunning.

I was back in Penang to celebrate the Chinese New Year.

On the 1st day, its the usual thing every year, relatives comes visiting.

Since I was staying in my cousin's house and my paternal grandmama was staying there, I didn't have to go from house to house to visit my relatives.

All my aunts and uncles of my father side came visiting. I realised I wasnt close to my father's side of the family at all? Except for my 5th uncle, maybe cause his kids are more sociable to me?? Here's some pictures of them.

Despite all the new clothes I get to wear and all the ang paus I received, this year that CNY mood wasnt there at all, I dont know why? Maybe because there wasnt much decorations or something like that??

Anyway, going on to the 2nd day.
This time I went over to my maternal grandmama side.
Which means more ANG PAUs too =D
My mum was the eldest in the family of 7 children. My eldest uncle, 2nd aunt, 6th aunt, and youngest uncle was present.

My 6th aunt has 2 sons and 3 daughters. All of them married except for the youngest son.
In total my aunt has 5 grandkids, and she's only in her early 40's!

This is my closest cousin that I have, his name is Roy. I've played with him ever since I was born, he's 2 years older than me and currently studying in UM.


Off to the 3rd day.
My brother was so hungry for Penang food that he bugged my parents to go over just to eat even though we're leaving back to KL already.

Now, on Thursday [ 29.01.09]

Its on the eve of my baby's birthday. He was still in Kuantan then, and I was determined to bake him a birthday cake before he reached KL.

So, I woke Pinkii up. It took me I dont know how many miss calls to wake her up but it still didnt work. I had to call her house phone and ask her sister to wake that lazy pig up in the end. And of we went to Kepong Metroprima to get the ingredients but the grocery list was not complete and had to go all the way to OU pass the toll to get the cheese.

I had another problem. I was supposed to use Drea's oven to bake but she had guests and I only can go over later in the evening, which was too late for me to finish everything. I thought of YeeLin but she was out and went clubbin later that night without ajak-ing me. I recalled Jon had a beautiful kitchen [LoL] and bet he has an oven. I rang him up and YES! he said i can go over. So I flew all the way to Ampang with my baking goodies, Pinkii and Farrah in the car.

KimYao [Jon's best friend], JonChin, and other of Jon's friends were there cause they slept over. KimYao helped me on the cake by tasting and commenting it. Pinkii also sibuk there wanna bake brownies, so KimYao helped her. Her brownies instruction said it needed grease, so both of them looked high and low for oil in the house cause Jon and Farrah went out to get me butter for my cake. Pinkii and KimYao thought that the oil should be outside in the wet kitchen but they didnt have the keys, and even when they found the keys, they couldnt open the door. Apparently the lock was spoiled. And KimYao was complaining about the amount of locks Jon has just for the wet kitchen door, it was 4 locks. LOL!

While waiting for the cake to bake, we gambled awhile and i sort of argued with my baby a little bit [Pinkii, shush...] But in the end, all's well end's well =)

When i brought the cake over to my baby's he didnt looked angry at me anymore, instead he was all smiley. I thought it was funny cause he was really pissed before that? LoL

But Im happy we're both alright now.

I went back again that night to Jon's place for 2nd round of gambling and to clean up some of the left-overs. I lost 15 bucks =.=

Friday [30.01.09] My baby's birthday!

We went over to YeeLin's place for her open house. So many of my old friends which i hardly contact were all there, I missed them so much! And it was so much fun to spend some time with them again.

YeeLin said SeuFoong [YeeLin's bf] left me a farewell present before he left for US. Guess what he gave me? A gift box of condom. I was like wtf-ed?!!! YeeLin told me to be happy cause apparently he did not left any present for her except me? But still?!! A box of condoms??? Im so gonna kill him if I see him in the future.

After that me and baby left to catch a movie, we watched All's Well End's Well. The movie is very funny! Should watch it. It's a comedy bout relationships.

After movie we headed off to Bangsar for dinner with Arthur, Lau, ShueYenn and her 3 gfs. Ronald and WengKen joined us later. We ate at Delicious. And the food is DELICIOUS =D

After dinner, we went back to blow the cake that I baked for my baby. It's his 20th birthday. He's an old man now. Hehehe...

The cake sucks. 1stly cause its my 1st time baking. 2ndly I sort of forgotten to add butter for the crust and it didnt stick at all =S it was a mess. And the flavouring was abit off.

Then we travelled all the way to Cheras to the King's house [Arthur]

4 bottles of liquor were there ready for us. Vodka [Absolute Pear, Absolute raspberry], Mattel and Bacardi. All 8 of us almost finished up the 4 bottles. As u can imagine, at the end of the night, we were all dead drunk. WengKen is like a hard-liquor drinker, even he was drunk. So, imagined the rest of us. Myself, Ronald, and WengKen threw up. But after that all of ur were some sober, some tipsy except WengKen who was already unconcious there. Some things happened, but I wont post it out here, it ends that night itself. I was fine =) Thanks to my baby for taking care of me the whole night.
